In January 2020 per request of our law firm, Revenue Service of Georgia initiated administrative procedures in the chain store of mobile phone accessories located in one of the biggest trade centers in Tbilisi. As a result, up to 4,000 items of counterfeit mobile phone covers have been seized as they illegally were designated with the trademarks of one of the largest producers of mobile phone and household appliances.
Due to large quantity of seized counterfeit goods the case has been forwarded to the Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance for further investigation.
