Customs detention of significant amount of counterfeit jewelry

In December 2019, Customs Department of Revenue Service detained up to 4 kilos of counterfeit silver jewelry designated with a trademark of one of the widely known jewelry producers. The goods were being imported from Turkey.

Above-mentioned detention was the fifth case of detention of expensive jewelry during last year. Like in all previous cases, an agreement on destruction of counterfeit goods has been signed with the importer.
