In November 2020, Customs Department of Revenue Service detained 9,691 pairs of counterfeit sneakers designated with trademarks of one of the widely known international producer of clothing and accessories. The goods were being imported from Turkey. As an agreement on destruction of counterfeit goods could not be reached between the importer and the right holder, the latter initiated a civil action requesting destruction of counterfeit goods.
